The paper “ALL PREDICTIONS MATTER: AN ONLINE VIDEO PREDICTION APPROACH”, by Melan Vijayaratnam, Giuseppe Valenzise, Enzo Tartaglione and Marco Cagnazzo, has been accepted in the IEEE-sponsored conference “EUVIP 2023“

We submitted the paper “ALL PREDICTIONS MATTER : AN ONLINE VIDEO PREDICTION APPROACH” to the EUSIPCO 2023 conference. This paper describes the recent advances of the Telecom-Paris team to the problem of on-line video prediction.

Ph.D. students Melan Vijayaratnam and Hind Kanj will present their latest developments, in particular in order to update the EKTACOM team. The presentation will be held on March 9th 2023.

Kawtar Abidine has joined the project as an intern who will have to work with EKTACOM on WP4.

We submitted the paper “ON THE FEASIBILITY OF EFFICIENT LATENCY COMPENSATION USING VIDEO FRAME EXTRAPOLATION to the ICIP 2023 conference. This work is about the practical use cases of latency compensated video transmission and describes Hind’s recent works.

Hira Malik has been recruited as post-doc in the ZL-LVC project. She will mainly work on WP1 and 3.

The mid-term report of the project has been submitted to the ANR administrative website.
